A barangay chairman died after a motorcycle he was riding in collided with a Tamaraw FX in a sharp curve along a road in Barangay Liwan West, Tabuk, Kalinga province last Monday.
Police identified the victim as Joel Ambona, 44, the incumbent Chairman of Barangay Lanna, Tabuk, Kalinga province.
Investigation showed that Ambona was on his way home aboard his motorcycle from Tuguegarao City when a Tamaraw FX, driven by one Wilfredo Patricio, 33 of Barangay Babalag West, Rizal, Kalinga Province, hit his motorcycle.
The victim died while on the way to Rizal District Hospital due to injuries in various parts of his body.(PNA)
