BACOLOD City Councilor Sonya Verdeflor has urged the Bacolod City Veterinary Office (CVO) to strictly implement City Ordinance (CO) 184, Series of 1997 and CO 554, Series of 2011.
CO 184 is an ordinance approving the rabies eradication, prevention and control program of Bacolod City, while CO 554 is an ordinance establishing dog owners' responsibility, requiring enclosures or fenced-in yard for pet dogs as preventive measure against occurrence of rabies injury, damage and other hazards.
