NEGROS Occidental Representative Mercedes Alvarez (6th district) said the decision made by the Nationalist People's Coalition (NPC) withdrawing the party's Certificate of Nomination and Acceptance (Cona) of Representative Jeffrey Ferrer (4th district) might be a result of the party's local monitoring and consultation.
Alvarez admitted, however, that she is not privy to the real reason why NPC withdrew its nomination and acceptance of Ferrer.
