Bacolod Hospital Employees Fired

THIRTY-ONE employees of Our Lady of Mercy Hospital in Eroreco, Mandalagan, Bacolod City were served with notices of termination effective December 30, 2010.

Roberto Villaram, president of the workers’ union at Our Lady of Mercy Hospital, said the affected hospital workers included 14 janitors and 17 medical orderlies.


Lawyer Juvie Dioso, head of the Human Resource Management Office of the hospital,
served the notice of termination wherein the reason stated for termination is redundancy. - Sun Star

As always, the people on the lowest position suffers the punches
   from the management as a result of being unionized in order to have a
   representation of their grievances.
The  management knows how to divide and conquer in order to
   demoralized and weakened the unity of the workers,
   thus putting fear of those that remains.
