Press Release - City Mayor Richard l. Gomez was the guest of honor and speaker during the Opening Ceremony of the Basic Water Safety and Rescue and Self-Contained Underwater Breathing Apparatus (SCUBA) training held at OCPO HQS, Barangay Camp Downes, Ormoc City, which took place today, March 15.
The said training will be conducted in consonance with the goal of attaining a more equipped OCPO personnel who are more disciplined, and to enhance their individual skills with the capacity to respond to Water Search and Rescue Operations.
In addition, the Giving of Certificates was also led by our city mayor and assisted by the City Director of the Ormoc City Police Office (OCPO), PCOL Ramil L. Ramirez, to Precious GEM, OCPO Shootfest Awardees (male and female category), and the 6th Lakan Cup 2021 Battle of the Sharpshooters awardees.
SP Member Gregorio Yrastorza lll, DILG-CLGOO, Ormoc City, Jean Redi T. Briones, RN, MDM, and CDRRM Officer and Chief Resilience Officer Ciriaco Tolibao ll were also present on the activity.
