This undertaking aims to recognize and celebrate the exemplary acts of heroism and love of the country of police officers this time of the pandemic.

PRO7 Regional Director, PBGEN RONNIE S MONTEJO together with Mr. Dino Abellanosa of the Ayala Foundation Incorporated and members of the Command Group present the plaque of recognition to deserving PNP personnel.

Among the awardees were PSSg Jason P Aguilar of 1st PMFC, NOPPO; Pat Eutemio M Baguio Jr of Mandaue City Police Office; PCpl John Yves Aligway and PCpl Patrocinio B Apura III, Regional Mobile Force Battalion 7.

PSSg Jason Aguilar, 1st PMFC, NOPPO  is awarded for his courage in responding quickly to a fire incident that happened in Brgy. Polo, Tanjay City, Negros Oriental on February 17,  in the house of Jimmy Alcantara, a person with a disability and bedridden. Upon learning about the incident, he called for help and the nearest Bureau of Fire Protection Station. He immediately carried Mr. Alcantara out from his house before it was burned down.

Pat Eutemio Baguio Jr.  of Mandaue City Police Office, on the other hand, is recognized for his dedication to serve, protect, and exemplify the PNP's core values through his good deeds of saving the life of a certain Edwin, who was burdened with family problems. While on his way home from duty on June 17, 2021, onboard his motorcycle and traversing the Marcelo Fernan Bridge in Lapu-lapu City,  Pat Baguio noticed a man standing at the edge of the bridge and about to jump off. He immediately parked his motorcycle and rushed to the person and pulled his back from the brink of death. The police officer's kindness and heroism won the hearts of netizens thru their comments on Facebook highly appreciating his heroic act.

PCpl John Yves Aligway and PCpl Patrocinio B Apura III of the Regional Mobile Force Battalion 7, were awarded for their commitment to serve the community in their willingness to give assistance to the people whatever the circumstances may be. On April 2, 2021 while conducting patrol,  RMFB 7 personnel encountered an undetermined number of suspected members of the Communist Terrorist Group in Brgy. Nagbinlod, Sta. Catalina, Negros Oriental that led to a firefight and lasted 8 minutes. The CTGs scampered towards the northwest direction after the fight and left one of their wounded comrades who sustained a wound on his head, fractured his right hand, and slight graze in the back. The troops did not hesitate to extend help to the wounded member of CTG and immediately applied first aid. The noble and virtuous act of the troops showed the exemplary acts done by the PNP in its campaign against CTGs and values every Filipino citizen and committed to serving the people with compassion, and without fear or favor.

Congratulations to all awardees and carry on the good work!

John 3:16-18 ESV
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son (Jesus Christ), that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.
