Paul Ebertz, Blue Origin’s Vice President of Engineering and Program Management, kicks off #Eweek2023 with a special guest post.
Driven by curiosity, ambition, and innovation, Blue Origin engineers are making history every day. I dedicate this #Eweek2023 post to celebrating our talented, diverse engineering team and empowering future builders and dreamers to join our mission and create the future.
Blue Origin engineers are designing a future where millions of people will live and work in space for the benefit of Earth. Achieving this vision requires building a road to space through reusable vehicles, engines, and space systems.
We’re designing and manufacturing rocket engines and space vehicles from the ground up in a unique, cutting-edge environment. Our engineers apply their expertise to solve intriguing challenges in orbital dynamics, vehicle design, material sciences, propulsion, fluid dynamics, human factors, flight control systems, and more.
“You can’t become what you can’t see” is a phrase that guides us as we inspire future generations to build the road to space. With that in mind, many of our engineers volunteer as Ambassadors with Blue Origin’s nonprofit Club for the Future to share their story with children from similar backgrounds. We want to open their minds to careers in STEM and aerospace for the benefit of Earth.
Our team comes from diverse industries that have so much to offer the space industry —automotive, aviation, technology, nuclear submarines, and gaming, to name a few. We're stronger because of this mix of expertise. The engineering team grew by leaps and bounds last year, and we expect to continue expanding this year as we build the future of humans in space.
It’s a privilege to work with our exceptional team that continues to push the boundaries of what’s possible and inspire future generations. We hope you consider joining our mission. Visit our careers page for our open positions:
