Philippines: It's already beginning to look a lot like Christmas in the Philippines with the onset of the "ber" months from September.

December may still be months away but Filipinos are already busy preparing to usher in the yuletide season.

As early as September, Christmas lanterns of all shapes and sizes light up the streets of Metro Manila, signalling the start of the Christmas season.

Filipinos start buying these star-shaped lanterns called "parol" to hang outside their homes.

The "parol" symbolises the Star of Bethlehem that led the three Wise Men to the infant Jesus more than two thousand years ago.

Even Filipinos living abroad have already placed their orders for these colourful lanterns to beat the Christmas rush.

pag mo abutay na ang pasko.. malipay gyod ko ug simbang gabi unya naay program magabii agoyyy.. igo nalang sa paghandom sa gagahapon.. maoy pasko para nako kay teen ager paman oi..

hahah! caroling ba... mingaw man gani, sa new year naa sila party daw pero mas nice ang performer sa atoa. wa pud pabuto ngari, naa man gani ka makita mga fireworks ra ginagmay.
