"That on or about the 20th day of June 1993, at around 12:00 o’clock noon, in barangay Malusak, Municipality of Boac, Province of Marinduque, Philippines, and within the jurisdiction of this Honorable Court, the above-named accused, did then and there, willfully, unlawfully and feloniously, with treachery and evident premeditation, attack, assault and use personal violence upon one RODOLFO LAGUILLES y BARRIENTOS by then and there stabbing him with a bladed weapon hitting him on his chest which caused his instantaneous death."²
The Supreme Court affirmed the decision of the lower court finding Flores guilty beyond reasonable doubt of murder and sentenced him to suffer the penalty of reclusion perpetua¹.
