Crips and Bloods Gangs here in the Philippines
« on: April 02, 2008, 11:17:28 PM »
I know the Crips and the Bloods gangs in U.S are notoriuos and dangerous. And it's sad to know that there are some kids here (cebu in particular) who tries to copy and imitate the acts of these gangs. Cebu version are yagit, smelly, dirty  etc. These kids don't even have any idea on what the real crips and bloods are. the original gangs are rich dba? they annoy me cause they are such wannabees and posers. They are too conscious of their get ups and appearance nya diay to wala nay gi pang eat ila mga brothers and sisters sa ila payag. Imagine! Some mebers are as young as 10.

Robbery and hold-ups that are happening here lately are associated to these groups, cause victims describe them as young group of teenage kids who are armed with knives or balisongs.

Before, okay ra to cause rambol rambol lang sa SM or Ayala, but today, it's worse.

Associated News:
By Carine M. Asutilla, Chris Ligan
Cebu Daily News

Suspected young gang members had a shootout, wounding a 23-year-old bystander in Banawa, Cebu City on Good Friday.

Melvin Pacaña of Green Village was on his way home from visiting Good Shepherd with two friends when two groups of youngsters had a shootout about 4 p.m.

Pacaña was hit in the right forearm and was rushed to the Cebu City Medical Center.

Senior Insp. Michael Bastes, chief of the Theft and Robbery Section (TRS) of the Cebu City Police Office (CCPO), who was in the area, responded to the alarm.

The police picked up three persons, a 22-year-old man of barangay Tisa, his 14-year-old nephew and another 14-year-old of barangay Buhisan.

Police are withholding their names pending investigation.

Based on witness accounts, the youngsters were members of Crips and Bloods, said Bastes.

Some crips or blood members here are for the pure purpose of gang gang rajud..
Some are reallyl notorious!  I don't think they are in one whole group. Murag nakatag katag nalang ni sila..walay nagka organize,. trip trip lang.. to think ang members or maybe even the organizers wala enough financial resources..

ate,. naka red cya or blue bandana?

I've never personally come into contact with gang members, but I've seen some of them before in my drive around Philadelphia and parts of Pittsburgh. It amuses me how these individuals shoot and kill one another for access to opioids and other drug paraphernalia to sell in the streets. They live by a colloquially termed "Street Rules", as if such rules ever contributed or affected the general populace.

I have little sympathy for gang members, they live in a vice-ridden society and their actions only aid in ostracizing themselves from society's main stream. Going to jail for them is a right of passage, pathetic, in that they gain some kind of 'street props' due to it. As mundane and infantile as their customs are, it does happen and it does take its toll on not only civilian life, but law enforcement lives. The rising gangs in the US that are found in large urban areas are usually race-related. You find alot of latino gangs, black bangs, white supremacist gangs.

My views on them: Lock them all up, or castrate every single one of them so that they do not live to propagate. As their offspring are eventually raised in such a lifestyle and continue in that way of life. Gang members are criminal outsiders, non conformists that live to sell drugs, breed inauspiciously and ultimately continue this parasitic way of life.

Society's failures.

Yes, the functionalities of gangs are the same way as cults. Their target troubled youths (in between high school and college age), indoctrinate them with the use of re-identification.

I volunteered in a counseling center for troubled teens in the spring of 06' and aided therapists in talking to some of these youth. One case I remember that touched me was of a young man who was 16 years old, was sexually molested by his father and he ran away from home. He was caught in the fringes of the Moon cult in Erie, and managed to run away to a local counseling center after 1 year of stay with them.

Sad kaayo because these individuals have no one, literally, no one. So these cults or gangs ultimately become their source of support. Their family, so to say. Assimilation, therefore, becomes natural. Pero there are those, like the individual who I had the chance in helping, who run away from these negative groups. Pero you know its not fair for some because counseling centers are not available for all people, depends on where one is.

Yes, somewhat like that. The Mooners are ultra radical christian cults tho. Borderline blasphemers, specially the way they teach scripture and twist the meaning.

Any cults in the Phils, Kiams?

I saw a documentary in the National Geographic channel the other day based on the MS13 Gang.

It's truly a parasitic organization. The decadence they cause in border states with Mexico is due to the porous border the US has with Mexico. Over 2 million illegal mexicans cross our border every year. Unidentified illegals, most of whom bring and traffic prostitutes and drugs to this country.

The US needs to take a stand and start to deport illegal aliens.
