hahaha. to be honest with you, i always get asked at work if i am indian or pakistani or some kind of latino
very rarely am i asked if i'm filipino. one time , during an interview at Northwestern University, my clinical director, a Filipino Physician, talked to me in English. For the duration of the 30-40 minute interview, she did not once think i was pinoy. At the end of our interview, i said to her, 'Maraming Salamat'. She was startled and said, "Oh, you're Filipino?"
"Yes, I am."
"Oh i thought you were Cuban or Latino."
