The International Finance Corporation (IFC), a partner of the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA) is currently seeking Expressions of Interest for Qualified Consultants with Expertise in the Coco Coir Sector. Contract period is projected to start in the first quarter of 2008.
The IFC is the private sector arm of the World Bank Group, has been active in the Philippines for more than 40 years and established an office in Manila in 1977. To complement its growing investments, IFC is expanding its advisory services to include public-private partnerships and private sector development. IFC is focusing on Mindanao and opened an office in Davao City in 2006. As part of its advisory services, IFC with support from the Governments of Australia and Canada, established a multilateral program to support the development of small and medium enterprises.
