PaRR seeking Experienced Reporter (Jakarta)

PaRR, a global news service used by lawyers, government agencies and companies to keep track of regulatory developments, is looking for a contract-based Reporter in Jakarta and Manila. The Reporter will break news on legal, regulatory and policy developments affecting the world’s largest companies. Other duties includes monitoring developments of relevant government agencies, attending court hearings, government briefings and policy events, and collaborating with colleagues in Asia, Europe and the US.
 
The role calls for a legal or financial journalist with at least three years of journalism experience and strong investigative skills. The right candidate should be able to grasp new concepts quickly and has a competitive attitude towards breaking news.
 
He / She must also be a good networker who is able to work under time pressure and feel comfortable conducting interviews in-person, by phone and via email. Occasional international travel is required. A Competitive salary package is offered.
