It was confirmed by the taste buds of Boholanos that bananas from Jagna and nearby towns are the sweetest in all province of Bohol. It also includes lanzones and recently Jagna won the biggest Ube competition in Ubay.
Unsay hinungdan ani? Camiguin island! Ngano man? Gumikan kay kada boto sa maong bulkang hibokhibok which is experienced thru out the centuries, naay ashfall nga mo-abut sa Jagna. Infact my late mother witnessed it during her time. Kining ashfall gikan sa Camiguin nag-abono kini sa Jagma soil and the nearby town facing Camiguin island.
I also anticipated that not in a distant future Jagna port being a part of the neutical haighway would close the link of Mindanao sea between Jagna and Camiguin, that tourists would criscross these southern sea to enjoy the beauty of the nature between the two islands!
Bai Buwad, Jagna's port is very well developed! I drove there one time and went to inspect the port, its impressive the kinds of boats that the port handles, it ranges from regular personnel carrier to large barges capable of taking trucks, buses, and cars as well as passenger personnel to intended destinations.
Great Job, Jagna!
