its true nahitabo ni sa akong amigo, mga 6 months siguro ang iyng sunod-sunod sa babaye nga among silingan, wala gyud gisugot. one time nga mi tan-aw mi ug baylehan iyang gi kuyogan ang babaye sa dalan sila lang duha mao nay iyang gihimo, pero pag-sugot sa babaye 3 months after iyang dayon gipakaslan. duha na ang kids nila karon ug buotan na kaayo ang lalaki karon, businessman na sya pinangga kaayo niya ang iyang asawa kay na inlove man gyud sija. gwapa jud noon ang babaye kung sa estorya pa sa iba poydi ma bahog ang ihi ha ha ha ha.

Ubuntu is a traditional African philosophy that simply means I am because you are.

beyond all the social events, the parties and gift giving, shopping to the max way limit, the busyness, let us not forget the reason for the celebration. nag pa ka tawo sija sa pasungan sa baka, wa intawoy pampers. as a reminder to all of us who profess to be CHRISTians, please don't X out our LORD and SAVIOR. let us put CHRIST back in CHRISTmas. instead of fancy gifts , we should be giving ourselves, like for example, mo bisita ta sa mga prisoners sa jail, sa mga masakiton sa hospital, sa mga orphans sa orphanage.

Actually Balong i dont celebrate Christmas in december, this means nothing to me really...nakisabay lang ko sa mga tama kay this is what i grew up with...

I am Christmassing baja every single day of my life since i learned to become a real Christian, i might have not followed everything i learned but at least i tried my very best...

The Christmas Box

A man punished his 5-year old daughter
for wasting a roll of expensive gold wrapping
paper. Money was tight and he became even
more upset when the child pasted the gold
paper so as to decorate a box to put under
the Christmas tree.

Nevertheless, the little girl brought the gift box
to her father the next morning and said, "This
is for you , Daddy." The father was embarrassed
by his earlier overreaction, but his anger flared
again when he found the box was empty.

He spoke to her in a harsh manner, "Don't you
know young lady, when you give someone a
present there's supposed to be something inside
the package?"

The little girl looked up at him with tears in her
eyes and said, "Oh, Daddy, it's not empty. I
blew kisses into it until it was full."

The father was crushed. He fell on his knees
and put his arms around his little girl, and
he begged her to forgive him for his
unnecessary anger.

An accident took the life of the child only a short
time later and it is told that the father kept that
gold box by his bed for all the years of his life.
And whenever he was discouraged or faced
difficult problems he would open the box and
take out an imaginary kiss and remember the
love of the child who had put it there.

In a very real sense, each of us as human beings
have been given a golden box filled with
unconditional love and kisses from our children,
family and GOD. There is no more precious
possession anyone could hold.

I was not so moved about some of the sad stories posted...

pero kini really have moved me...

GIFT is not at all materials that we can see and touch...

but a GIFT you han hold for the rest of your life...

a true LOVE...

honestly we never exchaged gift with my banana ...

i asked my husband a love and i gave him more than what he has given me...

i initiated this tradition so with my children...

long ago, i always reminded them Christmas is not only for December...

but all year round...

some people who knew me thought im unsual, eccentric, weird...

but the few who really know me thought my mind is so deep...

its just me...
