There are thousands of Boholano by blood and affinity anywhere in the world. The following list of Boholano writers is not extensive nor comprehensive enough to be considered a directory. It is expected to continue growing as we attempt to make a complete directory.

Also named in the list are the late president of the Republic of the Philippines Carlos P. Garcia, Francisco Dagohoy and Datu Sikatuna who are Boholanos.

Simeon Toribio - equal the world high jump record in the 1932 Los Angeles Olympics. He finished 3rd to take the Bronze Medal. Participated in the 1936 Berlin Olympics.

    * Nino Ramirez - Philippine entry in the Men's Long Jump in the 1936 Olympic Games. He dropped in the qualifying round but he was the event Long Jump title holder in Asia. He was also a good basketball and tennis player.
    * Lauro Mumar - Known as "the fox" in Philippine basketball because he was instrumental in disqualifying the best player of Puerto Rico during a World Basketball Conference in Brazil. He caused the revision of the 20 seconds rule in basketball when he "freeze" the ball for 4 minutes against Puerto Rico. Carlos Loyzaga was known to be "The great difference", but there is a saying that says; he [Loyzaga] would not be "the great difference" without the "Fox" Mumar.
    * Eugenio Sarabia - A MICAA stalwart playing with various teams like Seven-Up, Yutivo, Crispa, Chelsea and Yellow Taxi.
    * Jorge Naron - A MICAA player playing with Yutivo
    * Dodie Bonita - played with Crispa

 Lawyers

    * Atty. Oscar Glovasa of Antequera, bar topnotcher. Other top ten placers are Loonanons Fermin Mesina, Manuel Ferandos and Ramon Lapez. Another Loonanon, Jose Mesina, placed 11th.
    * Judge Marivic Artiaga Trabajo - Daray, the youngest regional court judge in the Philippine judicial system during the time of her appointment in July 2000. She is best-known for convicting the terrorist Fathur Roman Al-Ghozi, a member of the Jemaah Islamiyah network which is linked to al-Qaeda.

 Spiritual

    * Fr. Pernia heads the SVD congregation worldwide.
    * Rev. Constantino B. Real is the President of San Sebastian Colleges, Manila is from Guindulman.
    * Rev. Joseph D. Granada is Director of Basic Education of San Sebastian Colleges of Recoletos de Cavite. He is from Guindulman, Bohol.
    * Archbishop Bernardito Auza is the fourth Apostolic Nuncio from the Philippines and the first from Bohol.
