Hi to everyone..
I find this website very interesting and friendly, a reflection of a true-blooded Bol-anon. I hope I can find new friends here. Actually, my parents are of Boholano Origin, particularly in the Island of Pangangan town of Calape. First time in my life that I stepped Bohol, when I was in my College years in Cebu. We trooped to Pangangan via Tubigon with my brother and some cousins to attend the Annual Fiesta, August 10. There, my parents from Surigao del Sur annually visited their birthplace/hometown, twas also a coincident that my father's bday falls on August 10... everytime my parents visited Pangangan, my father's siblings have the reasons to have the dual celebration, a birthday and a fiesta in two... We are eleven siblings in the family, five (5) of them were born in Pangangan... due to dire needs, my parents decided to look for a greener pasture in the "Land Of Promise" in 1960 and settled in Diatagon, Lianga, Surigao del Sur... dahil na rin sa kasipagan ng Papa at Mama ko, nadagdagan pa kaming magkakapatid ng anim (6), eight brothers & three sisters.. pang-walo na ako... (parang self-introduction na 'to ah?..hehehe)
Presently, am here in Davao City, a Bank employee dito na rin nakapag-asawa but I always remember Bohol, the place of my forefathers.. the place of my origin.. hope to visit this place again with my family whom longing to see the place of their lolo and lola.. especially, Pangangan island.. I've miss a lot there, my closest relatives, of course the seafoods.. ang kasag, saliot hehehe daghan pa.. basin kapoyan na mo magbasa...
