It is really so hard for me to grow plants. I don't have "green thumb" but I really like plants. So I make them manually using sugar gum paste.

Maring naghimo na ko'g vase sa kadtong 50th birthday ni Tia Edna unya ang cake daw table with while table cloth. Naa pa gani gi display ni Tia sa iyang coffee table nah. Di lang nko makit-an ang pictures adto oi kay 3 years ago na to. Sige lang mag buhat ko'g usob.

Beth, wonder of all wonders, di lagi ni sya ga amigason. Kini laging sugar gum paste na flower pot gibuhat nko for Tia Edna adtong 3 years ago, wala jud amigasa and I think Hapon still kept the bouquet cake topper that I made for her wedding.

my version of Aya san's Chrysanthemum. tsk tsk tsk It's nowhere close to the real thing. I couldn't check the internet to refer Aya san's post so I tried to make it based on my recollection. I think the middle is too large and I should have had more petals.

I was having "withdrawal syndrom" for the first two to three days and making sugar gum paste flowers was my outlet. I was reviewing messages of Aya san when I noticed that I still have unfulfilled promises. Muna-muna jud nko pangita asa na ning mga pictures so I can post here. So, bisan late na, let me post these pictures.

As advised by Maring Bilya and Aya san, I did some retouch to these flowers.

For Mari. Sorry dear dugay na kaayo ni wa nko na post. Mao na ang flower na imong gi request sa left kay ang sa right, kang Aya san man na. I think I remember why I didn't post this kay mura ug layo ra sa tinuod sa imong gi post. But sige lang, mag practice pa ko'g usab.

Wow nindot pag-ayo! Inday Grace nganong dili man ka mo-eskwela ug Fine Arts? With your great talent, you have the posssibiity to perfect it. I know that marzipan can used to mold objects and I tried Salzteig. This is a combination of 45% Flour and 45 % Salt, the rest is water and some glycerine to make it easier to form. But your work is really wonderful! You are a talented lady.

Thanks a lot, Manay! Yes, gagamit pod ko'g marzipan kaso lang di pa nko mahuman akong trabaho mahurot na nko'g kitkit kay lamian man ko'g marzipan! hahaha Unsa kaha ning Salsteig dah? Akong sige'g gamit kay sugar gum paste.
