Victoria,southeast of Australia seems to be a nice and peaceful country but are you sure other people living there too?

hehehe first thing in the morning pa man gud ni Bambi, wa pa mangabli ang mga tindahan, nag walking man gud ko, excersize ba hahaha, looya pod no, wa joy tawo nagtikawtikaw.

How far? 2hours to get there in 110 k speed. depende pod asa ka sa city moadto, kon adto jud ka sa main city, then it will take you a bit longer, from where we are. dia mi sa north east victoria bambi.

For instance where my children are, it will take us at least 2 hrs and 1/2.

it's ok bambi, you can interview me anytime, basta d lang personal HAHAHAHAH. breakfast wa jud tawon, naghuwat ko nga makauli sa balay for a cuppa. Pinoys diri mga 20 to 25 couples sa akong nahibaw-an, agamay ra man ning benalla population of 12 thousand more or less.

how do i like Australia? not bad i guess, pero lami jud sa bohol. I was born in anda bohol. THere's a lot of thing that interest me, like their unique animals koala and of course kangaroo, plants like eucalyptus and more too many to mention.

Am glad that you like it grazie, Victoria alone is a big state, wa pa gani nako masuroy ning uban. been in some, when our children was still young. That pictures i posted are only one town of victoria where we live. I raised my children her and also they grow up here, in this little country town of victoria. Hala ka diha grazie oi, manlimbawot man pod akong balhibo nimo, akong gisuwayan wa man lagi, ayee ka.

The thing that is really interesting is that the Board Exams for Medicine here in the states is the same as in Australia.

We all take the USMLE (United States Medical Licensing Exams); which are also accepted in Australia.

There are even American med students who choose to do their neurology, peds (pediatric) and radiology or extracurricular rotations abroad. Some doing it in Green-Schools in Australia. Some of our 4th year students are actually doing their clinical rotations at Royal Perth Hospital in Australia. Some also are doing their clinicals in the UK (Gloucestershire).

Australia has really good Internal Medicine Teaching Programs, I hear.

Tita,

As of right now I am scheduled to begin my clinical rotations by Spring of 2010 in hospital systems in and around Chicago, Illinois. But I and others in my batch are trying to do our core rotations in either Chicago, Philly or NYC.

But I am interested in completing my elective rotations (neuro, orthopaedics, radiology, gastro etc) abroad. The affiliated teaching schools abroad include UK schools, Tel Aviv Medical Health Systems as well as other sites. One site that I'm interested in is Royal Perth Hospital Systems in Australia. I have friends over there that are doing their elective rotations there. Once they finish their rotations there for their electives, they'll begin to take step 3 of the USMLE boards. Benefits of going abroad for elective rotations is because some of the western hospitals abroad are advanced in different techniques; for example in Australia--there are new procedures there for Advanced Angioplasty--for Cardiology interns. One friend of mine is in Royal Perth finishing his 6 month clinical rotation for cardio over there.

Australia's medical system is an exact copy of the US health system; we have similar regulations and most of all; similar board exams for Medicine/Surgery.

If I do end up taking my elective rotations in Australia, I will tell you beforehand.
