Synopsis: 
Tail-end of a cold front affecting Eastern and Southern Luzon. 
Forecast: 
Eastern and Southern Luzon will experience mostly cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers. The rest of Luzon will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with passing light rains. The rest of the country will be partly cloudy to at times cloudy with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.

Moderate to strong winds blowing from the northeast will prevail over Luzon with moderate to rough seas. Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate blowing from the northeast with slight to moderate seas.

Weather Outlook: Dec. 29-Jan. 1

Feel free to travel across Metro Manila and much of Central Luzon this weekend given the expected generally fair weather.

Tagaytay City and Clark Zone as well as Baguio are also indicated to remain mostly rain-free.

Given the effects of a tail end of a cold front, Tuguegarao and Laoag can continue to see shower activity, so will the Bicol Region, Aurora and Quezon, Puerto Prinsesa, Bacolod, Cebu and Tacloban.

Much of Mindanao may have to make room for hit-or-miss showers and possible thunderstorms over the next two days.

Meantime, PAGASA says, there are no tropical cyclones in sight, and much of the country can see relatively good weather for the remainder of the year and into the start of 2008.

At 10:30 a.m., I went for a walk.  I was just wearing regular jogging attire and boy, was it awefully cold!  I was so lazy to get back the house and get heavier attire so I kept walking.  After 15 minutes of walking, I felt like my face was numb already!  I still continue and on my way home, I was starting to sweat a little bit na.  That was my warm up for the Fecha Dos Project!

Moderate to strong winds blowing from the northeast will prevail over Luzon, Visayas and Eastern Mindanao with moderate to rough seas. Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate blowing from the northeast with slight to moderate seas.

Weather Outlook: January 1

Much of the country is in store for at most just light passing showers with the exception of provinces in Northern and Eastern Luzon which remain under the hold of a tail end of the cold front.

That weather system can continue to draw scattered showers over Legaspi City and Tagaytay.

Meantime, beginning tonight, calm conditions can accompany travellers heading back to Metro Manila from the provinces.

The Metro and Clark Zone can enjoy mainly settled weather with just a chance for light passing showers, before showers move in on Wednesday.

Much of the central islands, including Puerto Prinsesa, Bacolod, Cebu and Tacloban is seeing ideal conditions for outdoor activity. But that might not be so for Mindanao, which can still be in for thundershowers, but there shouldn't be so much rainfall in Cagayan de Oro, Zamboanga and Davao, until cloud cover builds on Wednesday.
