What Do You Do if You Can’t Sleep at Night?

If i cant go to sleep, I'll sit on my couch and read a book. And read till I fall asleep. I've been known to that many times back in college--where I was forced by the librarian to leave the library because I fell asleep in the library basement.  One time I was there till 2 AM in the morning until the librarian woke me up to go back to my dorm and take a 'night's rest'. lol.

Good times. Good times.

Gotta love finals examination week.

Hahaha, it is so true though. Massaging is the best form of therapeutics before sleep because it moves the epidermal tissues, which stimulates vasodilation and in the process allows the integumentary process to maintain homeostasis. Massage also is a destresser agent because the massaging motion of the muscle allows and stimulates blood flow and stimulates the muscles innervated by the neuronal tributaries.

In the process you allow healthy flow of oxygenated blood throughout the heart to arteries, capillaries, which permeates to the skeletal system; through the ligaments and other cartilagenous branches. From this any carbon dioxide and poorly oxygenated blood go back to the venoules, which drains back to the minor and major veins (superior/inferior vena cava) and is then re-oxygenated in the heart. Where it completes the circulatory systemic route again.

As a result, there is a greater flow of oxygen-rich blood in the body; and stimulates sleep.

If I can't sleep at night?

Well, as of late I haven't had any problem of not being able to sleep. In fact, I wish I had more sleep lol.

When you start graduate or professional schools, one really realizes that sleep is a luxury that we can't have all the time. Hahaha.

If I can't sleep; then I usually read Clinical Legal Ethics. Usually puts me to bed in 20-30 minutes.
