Meaning of NAPOLES Pork Barrel Scam

After rejecting liempo or sisig as the new name of pork, finally it will be the "National Assistance Program of Lawmakers Engaged in Swindling" in short NAPOLES.

Republic Act 8485 (Animal Welfare Act of 1998, Philippines), as amended and strengthened by House  Bill 6893 of 2013--- violation means a maximum of P250,000 fine with a corresponding three-year jail term and a minimum of P30,000 fine and six months imprisonment

CDF - Countrywide Development Fund, circa 1990
PDAF - Priority Development Assistance Fund, 2000

suggested new names:

BADAF - Benigno Aquino Development Assistance Fund
BABADAF - Benigno Aquino & Butch Abad Development Assistance Fund

a pork by any other name is still a pork.  pity the pig.
