Watch what are you sowing!

[Lorenzo]

“Be not deceived: God is not mocked. For what things a man shall sow, those also shall he reap. For he that soweth in his flesh of the flesh also shall reap corruption. But he that soweth in the spirit of the spirit shall reap life everlasting. And in doing good, let us not fail. For in due time we shall reap, not failing. Therefore, whilst we have time, let us work good to all men, but especially to those who are of the household of the faith."

Galatians 6.7-10

Treasure in Heaven.

(Matthew 6:19-21)
19 “Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and decay destroy, and thieves break in and steal.
20 But store up treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor decay destroys, nor thieves break in and steal.
21 For where your treasure is, there also will your heart be.

Our tradition holds that Jesus calls us individually, by name, to our personal vocation. Each of us has a calling, a particular role to play in carrying out God’s divine plan. Whether you are a parent or a priest, a senior citizen or a teenager, whether you are married or single, a musician or a mapmaker, you have in your heart the ability to serve God’s plan. Stewardship extends far beyond Sunday Mass. Fully lived, the spirit of stewardship enters into all our thoughts, words, deeds and decisions....
