technically, i didn't run away. i did go out with a girl for an entire night when i was 16. my parents were livid at me.

nope... my dad got me kicked out of the house thrice hehehehehe... okay lang pod, at least, i experienced living on my own. And by the time, I'm living on my own, my dad asked me to go home.. uli na lang pod ko.. heheheh

what is interesting is that i didn't even do anything with that girl. we just walked around the board walk at night. talking ra gud. i do remember staring into her eyes. i can remember it so vividly.

hmmmm..how i wanted to kiss her lips. i practiced constraint tho. that night.

he he he! it's good to feel liberated, tho. kanang, ma wala pod ang repression sa atong feelings. one gets to explore one's feelings openly this way.

this reminds me of my first break up. it was painful for me, as i'm sure it was for anyone who was emotionally involved with another person. i was tormented by the fact that i couldn't be with her anymore, pouring my emotions into written words, through letters. the problem was the fact that due to my inexperience, i was taking the break-up too personally. two weeks afterwards, i decided to go out and date again. when i started dating other girls, it was amazing how i was able to meet so many kinds of women, different tastes, different interests, yet able to make a personal relationship with them. it showed me that one can truly find happiness and that life does not end just because a relationship fails or dies. every pain, every failure does not break us, but rather, builds us and strengthens us along the way.

after my time of discernment after my break up-- i realized that i could find happiness without her. it was liberating.
