Hmm, it was just a series of pictures I saw. But if we base it on the title, the horse must have survived. In fact, I believe he already looked like this in no time:

empathy, yes.  sarcasm, hmm, maybe.  with that picture of a man carrying a horse on his shoulder, i didn't know whether i should laugh or cry, for the man, or for the horse.
