Medical / Dental Mission Coming

[wolfpack823]

A Medical/Dental Mission will be conducted in Upper dela Paz, Cortes, Bohol on April 21, 2012. It is my personal initiative to help my ka-barrio. A Medical Team from Manila composed of 5 dentists and 3 doctors will undertake the mission.

I shouldered the financial aspects of the project, and through my connections I was able to pull medical people to Bohol free of charge. The Alpha Phi Omega Bohol-based is the lead organization that undertakes this. We have enough resources to cover 500 dental patients, and the barangay officials are conducting pre-registration to determine the actual medicines needed.

On the day of the mission, I am also giving out 20 Food Vouchers at PhP500 each to participants in a form of raffle. This Food Voucher has been my project in line with my Hunger and Poverty advocacy.

It feels good to be home, but it feels better to give something to the community where you belong.

Hello wolfpack, do you have a press release for this event? I can send it to all newspapers in Bohol. This will encourage others to emulate your noble work.

Thank you for sharing your blessings.

way to go, wolfie!  what a great way to positivize your sorrows.  this doesn't come everyday, this lifting of others even if your own shoulders are weary.  best wishes!  you're going to smile your best smile one day soon just by being what you are.

Sorry Guys, kind of late for me to post here. It was a big success. There was some surplus of medicines, so they used it on that Sunday morning in one of the barangays in Tagbilaran. All the doctors and dentists are specialists from Manila. Thanks to connections. I am working on having one for January 2014, the other side of my town. I will tap local medicial specialists this time, however, I am working on the medicines right now. I will be home, by then too, God willing.
