Chocolate or Roses

I need an advice. I've asked out my friend on a date for this weekend, im taking her out to a restaurant, and then taking her to a swing dance club. What should I get her as a gift? Chocolate or roses?

She's a close friend Amigo-Amiga mi sa International Club ug sa chess club diri, kai we always have a game of chess (i usually let her defeat me, pero there are times where i hunt her--hahaha--very competitive girl--strong willed jud). She's very sweet kaayo, she has the cutest Chinese accent
We didnt' do anything special, 'te, just went to the city, took some pics, sight seeing. Went to a restaurant and stopped by a swing dance club for a bit.
