Some well known Valencianhons in the Philippines and Abroad.

1. General Leo Olegario ; the former mayoral candidate of 2010. A very good and staunch Nationalista party member !

2. Captain Isidro Dango; the former vice mayoral candidate of 2010.

I admire these two men for their pro-poor campaign agenda and their desire to drive change and growth in Valencia. Tho they did not win in the 2010 election, I hold them in high regard and much respect.

3. Dr. Plinio Lim, MD. Dr. Lim was a former mayor of Valencia and part of the opposition party. He is a man who graduate with medical honors and continues to help his fellow citizens, has an open ear to the people and a rich sepository for history and town information. He is a good man, and his love for Valencia is a model for all Valencianhon youth to follow.

4. Dr. Zoe Lim. Dr. Lim, one of Cebu’s best surgeons and who is a true-blooded Valencianhon, declared his unconditional support to the entire local Nacionalista Party candidates and urged the barangay populace for their all-out support for Olegario and Dango and straight all the way to all SB Kagawad.

5. Dr. Guido Lim, M.D. This man is notably and probably known by most Valencianhons as the "Medical Provider" of Valencia. Dr. Guido Lim is the owner head physician of Dr. Lim's Clinic and Hospital (25 bed) in Sawang, Valencia. He is also the owner of Lim Community Hospital (28 beds) in Jagna, Bohol. This man has delivered and cared for thousands of Valencianhons throughout his lifetime.

6. Ms. Maria Petra Ocio, the School Principal of Valencia National High School.

7. Engr. Alex Salvo, PE. Engr. Alex Salvo, a graduate of Adamson College in Manila, Philippines of Mining Engineering is a pure blooded Valencianhon. Engr. Alex Salvo is an Engineering Board Topnotcher and came in as # 2 in the Entire Philippines.  His experience as a professional Engineer has brought him to Cebu and Saudi Arabia.

This summer I was able to talk to Uncle Alex. My Uncle is now based in Saudi Arabia. He is indeed one of Valencia's best Engineers.

8. Dr. Owen Pangilinan. Dr. Pangilinan was a Medical Board topnotcher in the Philippines. A pure blooded Valencianhon. He is now based in the United States.

9. Mayor Pablo Lim. Mayor Lim served as a long-time mayor of Valencia, Bohol. He made some infrastructural projects for the town and helped to develop the town. The Lim Astrodome in Valencia, Bohol is named after him.

10. Capt Pursing Salaguste, an international seafarer. Captain Salaguste is a son of Marawis, Valencia. He is active in the community in politics and regional building.
