Is pre-marital sex right or wrong?
Im supposed to do a debate on pre-marital sex. Im on the against side. And I've found quiet a lot of points....but i just wanna know from ur perspectives. Do you think its right? Or is it wrong? Why? I just wanna know your opinions to get a clearer picture. Your opinions would be very much appreciated~ Thank you! =)

There is no need for a debate because we all know that is wrong. Unless someone wants to cover up their wrong doings and make wrong things look right.

morality wise it's wrong. as what you side each side has it's own upsides and downsides. it depends on who's doing it and the reason why you are doing PMS. some people like me take PMS as pre-marriage scope. you know why? because if you take it literally PRE-MARITAL SEX, meaning sex before marriage is somewhat misleading. not all people that are having sex about to get married or they are planning to. some people have sex because they like it and they don't have any plans whatsoever to marry each after the deed whatever the outcome is.

going back to the scope, it means that you have to widen your view or your outlook about sex and life. it is an opportunity for you to investigate further whether both of you are really meant or compatible with each other. both of you should widen your scope towards each other so that when you settle down meaning marry each other you already know each other very well. marriage without knowing each other that much ended separation. sex has its purpose if it's being used properly.

Sex before marriage is morally wrong, yes, true, however God knows that sin is a natural failing of man. Romans 3:23 states, "For all have fallen from the Glory of God..."

If one is resentful of the sin, despite comitting the sin, will be forgiven of the sin. God looks past the sin of a repentant sinner, just as he was forgiving to Zaccaeus  the tax collector whom the jews already condemned for being a sinner.

Christ did not come for the righteous, but He came to seek which was lost, the sinners of the world. All of us are included in this community.

Bay Ray, well said. You stressed on the notion of the importance of marriage especially in the man and wife knowing each other. Sex and the Love Life between married partners is a good subject to talk about.

Premarital sex. This topic is in itself an interesting one. Is premarital sex a sin? It would be considered a venial sin, since it falls in the category of lust. However, whom amongst us is pure and free from lust? Surely none.

If one so happens to sin and commits premarital sex, the sacrament of reconciliation wipes away this venial sin from the soul.
