Akong mga uncle ang nag tanom ug nag atiman ani. Sila si nong Pedie ug Concordio Pabe mga forest guards volunteers. I consider them a hero.

The Brother of my mother, the late Mr. Felipe Sarmiento, contributes a vital role in the Rattan plantation and the conservation of wild life in this forest.

My Grandfather, the late Rufino Sarmiento was a foreman in the cadastral survey who built this road from Loboc to Carmen. During his tenure, he was the one who plant that big Acacia trees on the road side where you can still see some of it by now and dili na ma gakos ug lima ka tao ang pono-an. Most of them were cut down and labeled as hazards to the electric posts. Sometimes, we do not value history.

As soon as you approach the entrance to this awsome man-made forest, you can smell and sense the aroma (if i may call it) and the coolness of the area, brought about by the tall mahogany trees abundantly sorrounding you (naunsa man, nag ingles  na man pud ko da!). Adtong elementary ug high school ko diha sa Bilar, diha na kanang man-made forest, pero gagmay pa ang mga trees (ag saba sa akong edad ha!) Naa pud man-made forest diha sa lugar dapit likod sa former BAC, nga nag classwork mi aron lang magtanom ug mahogany trees, i bet dagko na pod sila karon. It is undeniably clear that if we plant trees, we can preserve  ecology for both man and other creatures in this planet (sus ginoo, ga ingles na pud!). Dinhi ra jud kutob!

That is a good idea di ba? Kada uli sa Bohol tanom tag kahoy. Kung ato ning i-promote sa tanang Bohol associations all over the world nga mouli man gyud og pista, pastilan kadakong kausaban sa Bohol. Teka Minute....maayong idea? Say mo?
