HOw did your mother help you in your growing-up years?
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son (Jesus Christ), that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God. - John 3:16-18

Just an inspiration that I have a mother. I was out of her life when I was 13 but the mere idea that I have a mother helped me overcome the most painful and difficult tasks I embarked just to be what I am now.

Inspiration is far stronger than reality when you are left with no choice.

she showed me examples of what to do and what not to do... literally!

She inspired me and motivated me along the way, as with my father. From elementary, to middle to high school. Throughout college and Medicine Proper. My mother epitomizes sacrifice and love. There is nothing my mother and father would not do for their children, again, it illustrates their parental role and loving nature.

My mother taught me to be stern with choices, and to remember one's roots and family. My mother was influential in my religious life and Faith growth. Always encouraging us to pray when in difficult moments and to always Trust in God.

I am so lucky to have such a good and loving Mom.

Most important thing:

My Mom always reminded us of the notion of right and wrong. And to always tell the truth, no matter how much it hurts.
My father complemented this by disciplining us unto God.

Life is filled with choices, the good and the bad. Cause and Effect. Consequences for every action.

Bottom line: They instilled in us, their children,..Responsibility.
