Japanese spa industry, under heavy competition, is trying new features to attract health-conscious bathers on February 25, 2007. This spa has a Wine Spa, under a giant object of a wine bottle. The spa management claims it has health benefits such as relieving fatigue, moisturizing action and anti-aging.

This spa features Green Tea Spa, boasting health benefits like preventing rough dry skin, whitening or effects for cold constitution. Many foreign tourists enjoy this seemingly odd bathing.

In this spa in Hakone, Kanagawa Prefecture, bathers gather to see the throwing of wine, performed several times a day. A warning is given to the underage or drivers not to drink the wine during the performance.
We, the unwilling, led by the unknowing, are doing the impossible for the ungrateful. We have done so much, for so long, with so little, we are now qualified to do anything with nothing.

This spa in Hakone, Kanagawa Prefecture, occassionally performs throwing sauce of strawberry juice or raspberry extract to the excitement of bathers.

In this spa, Japanese Sake, or rice wine, is applied in the spa. In the back, a giant Sake barrel is placed. The spa management claims it has health benefits including skin care, relieving backache and cold constitution.
