Argh!
I am angry at you.

Where are the lights?
The sounds?
What does the sun smile back to?

What happened to our plans to visit Samoa?
Japan?
Philippines?

What happened to our plans to visit and tour Europe?

I haven't heard your voice in over 16 months, my Friend.

And to think that my determined and adamant mind would be still affected by your loss still brings me to the beginning of the equation.

And that is: Why? How?

And why shouldn't I ask these questions, and why shouldn't I be angry at you?

I scheduled a mini-reunion with some alumni sometime in 2010. And then I began to ask myself, "Who to meet up?" A list of names comes to my mind, and yours also comes up. Then I pause. Wonder. And sigh. I sigh because I want to see you and talk to you and laugh with you. But I can't; because you can't attend. Because you are --and shall never--be able to attend any reunions in the present or in the future. Ever.

Damn it, Rob, why didnt you just tell me about this before hand?

I miss you, my Friend.

I mourn you,
A. Lorenzo

Again, I am so sorry, Dong.

Everytime I hear or read about young people committing suicide, I always remember Rob and how grief stricken you were at that time when you learned that he was gone.  He must be at peace now, Dong.

I hope and pray for him. That somehow the Love of God will grant him peace as he is in Purgatory. Please, please, pray for him, Ate Ging.

His death anniversary was on November 19 raba

5AM on Walker Annex
The hum drop of the heater rings on

I open my door to the sound of banging
I see your face, "Yo Al, did you see Allie?"

Couple of weeks pass by,
Homeworks change, classes change, but similar faces stay the same

We have discussions in French Revolution Class
A debate over faith against reason
A debate over Marat and Robespierre
A debate over Republican and Monarchical
Then a hot, beautiful dame passes by;
a pause from debate
Eyes wander to check the dame
Then we continue on debate
lol

Your spirit of to understand,
Your spirit to help mend
What a beautiful thing it was, Robert

And I remember walking by the halls of Walker Annex on May 2008
Days after graduation
I stop by my old freshman year dorm room
Stop by your dorm room.
And I reminisce good, fond memories

And in an odd and peculiar way, I somehow expected to see you there
But no,
You weren't there
You're gone

Robert, you're gone.

I was walking back from Carr Hall,
Ah another long day in one of Dr. Barry Shapiro's Class
I was walking back,
I distinctly remember it snowing--I was wearing my L.L Bean boot
"How was class, Al?"

And another conversation began.
Only to be cut short.
I went on to Steffe Hall of Science,
Always on time, needed to be on time.

I think back out the nostalgia of Allegheny.
The winter in Allegheny.

The many unfinished conversations we had, my friend.

Path from Carr Hall to Brooks.
