Why Eat Danao

Yeasterday Bohol media spent the day in Danao as a guest of Mayor during an informational forestry and training excercize for DENR and ANF members.

During the press conference the town mayor said that hit small town will become a tourist destination because it is a fourth class town with first class people.

There are other wonder's in Bohol besides Chocolate hills and panglao.

He exsplained "we have caves, cliff climbimg, a beautifull river valley and kayaking to offer to our tourist that will be coming here.

The media then went to three other sites to observe samples of composting, learn how to contain forest fires to keep from quickley spreading.

We also wen to a vantage point to take in a breath of fresh air and look over the canyon and river with caves and cliffs below.

There are even skeletal remains of dagohoy or even to be of his enemies or follower's.

The bones of the past can be seen at the entry site of the Danoa recreational training centre.

Danao was featured in Smile Magazine, Cebu Pacific Air's official inflight magazine. In the magazine I saw stupendous scenes which I never know they exist in Danao, Bohol.

Happy, you must have to go to Danao and experience the "cliff climbing and kayaking".  Had heard about it, it is quite interesting.  This is what Scott proposed as one of our program  in our last Dec. 30, 2007 EB but we were already committed with some other projects and the time was just too short.

Yesterday my write up on Danao was published in the Bohol Standard but my stuff does not make it to the web site the one doing the web set up thinks he owns the paper even tho I told him it would be nice to publish the write up about Danao so that Mike could promote it as well as we know he said he would like to promote it.
In two days I have been told by several of our readers including the sr. writer for the chronicle that it was a nice article and that it was good i had turned it into a news item about being a tourist attraction to be.
It was totally great being able to see such a beautifull ad breath taking scenary of Bohol.

Ha ha ha ha! if we did a TB EB.....and rock climbing was th agenda .....uuuuuhm? Not sure if i could pull up my behind it might drag behind me and .wah .....wah i will be leave behind because of my dugay tail...lol!

Media when they had the oppurtunity to be hosted on a trip to danao we were entertained by the Danao mayor's secretary who happened to be a total sweetheart to the entire media and made those of us who went on the feild trip enjoy it very much.
If you were to ask your friend working at the municipal hall in danao who started this post you just tell her it was the blonde haired jolly local foreignor in the media here and I am sure it would bring a smile to her face as I had joined them for excercisizes that day in front of the hall.....
