Ulcers and Marriage

Ulcers and marriage sometimes go together like a horse and carriage. A recent study of over 8,000 men revealed that good marriages mean fewer ulcers; troubled marriages increase the risk.

In other words, men who receive love and support from their wives and believe they have a good marriage are only half as likely to suffer from ulcers as men who feel unsupported by their mates and believe they are trapped in a loveless marriages...

For Women, it's  vice versa...

Being raised in a fairly conservative Filipino household, I find beauty in my parents' arguments and their semantics. There is always a process in their 'arguments'. lol. Mother says something, father says something back, they shout, one goes out, then comes back, after wards, they buy food, they cook, they eat. The children come.

And a new child is born next year. haha!

(mind you i am a bit overexageratting the 'next year' aspect, lol, you get the point).

My parents fight, they make love, they make war, they make love, and make amends, and they raise their children the right way. To me, and to us, their children, they fit each other. Two peas in a pot, me-thinks.
