Philippine National Anthem, On Colonizer's Soil

[Lorenzo]

His Royal Spanish Majesty's Royal Band plays the Philippine Anthem on behalf of the visiting President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo.

King Juan Carlos is standing with President Arroyo.

I wonder what men such as Rizal and Del Pilar would have done had they lived to see this.
The King of Spain, and a Filipina. The colonizer playing the former colony's national anthem on the colonizer's own soil.

Ah beautiful! Beautiful!
