The Trade Union Congress of the Philippines (TUCP) backed today the plan of the Bureau of Immigration to come up with a new visa program for foreign investors.

"The plan jibes with our prior proposal for the government to lead in jobs creation, and for all agencies to consciously use their policies and programs to generate badly needed new employment," said TUCP general secretary and former senator Ernesto Herrera.

The bureau is planning to allow qualified foreigners to stay in the country indefinitely provided they invest here and fully employ at least 10 Filipinos. The proposal had been submitted to Malacañang for approval.

I toally agree with this. Thank goodness for Tubag to bring me news that I other wise would not see unless I was to buy the newspaper.

I alsofeelthat foreigners should be able to buy the land here as well and put it in their names and not have to look for a wife to put it into her name like the system is now.

So many foreigners have the economics to finance such establishments as putting up new business's and creating more jobs as well.

I agree with Americans and Europeans, but not Koreans and Chinese.

Koreans and Chinese are invasive and killing our local business.

Even our own Fil-Chinese businessmen are against these people.
