Anda is the only town of Bohol that has the only known incorruptible though "unofficial" or say "uncanonized" saint(ly) figure in Inday Potenciana  :). Saw it myself in 1980 when I was assigned in that unassuming town and again in 1988.

Anda is one of Bohol's undiscovered tourist spot.There's a nice beach with a lot of caves on it. It's located about 90 km. from Tagbilaran City

Tinuod naay bag-ong merkado ang Anda pero way bisan usa ka dako nga gitampo ang Mayor niana. Ug way bisan usa ka pudyot nga paningkamot ang gitampo sa Mayor ana. Puro na donasyon ni Arthur Yap. Ambot ug dis-a ug kwarta si Arthur Yap nga bali mang daghana.

Ang nakaparat karon usa ray niabang sa merkado, bag-o lang nadugangan ug laing usa, ang Palawan Pawnshop. Unsaon ang abang sa merkado kay P100,000. Dili ma-refund kung maganse imong negosyo.
Murag wala kabalo si Arthur Yap gani nga gipamolitika ug ginegosyo sa politiko ang iyang gidonate nga merkado.

Pagkaluoy sa lungsod sa Anda. Tanang Bol-anon sa kalibotan nakahibalo sa pagkauyamot sa Anda. Ang wala ra nakahibalo ang mga namuno didto.

I did not notice this when I visited Anda this past summer. I fell in love with the beauty of the town.

The beaches in Anda, in my honest opinion, are hidden treasures. The white sands of Anda's beaches are equivalent to those in Panglao.

It surely is a beautiful town. Very beautiful.

The thread or topic is purely misleading because Anda is far from being "the only" town nga walay asenso as the title suggests. The photos and videos I posted contradict this perception or assumption, no matter how minimal the town's progress is and/or its activities.

Sa Anda ko nakakaog IHOng gagmay (sharks) almost every afternoon in the year 1980. Fishermen used to give them away and just leave them on the shore for people to pick up when they come back to the mainland. Kalimot kos tawag nila but it tastes good with coconut milk  :)

They have a particular term for it (small shark) in Anda but I don't remember. Calling Scarbz... she knows that hunasan well.  ;D
