Manila, Philippines – Ipinasara na ng Monetary Board (MB) ng Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP)ang AMA Rural Bank of Mandaluyong, Inc. at ang Maximum Savings Bank, Incorporated.
Sa utos ng Monetary Board, ang policy making body ng BSP noon pang Nobyembre a-7 pinatitigil na sa operasyon ang  dalawang banko, alinsunod sa  Section 30  ng Republic Act No. 7653  o ang inamyendahang The New Central Bank Act.
