Fiesta 2007 in Dimiao, Bohol

Dimiao local officials welcome guests, visitors, "balik-bayans" and devotees of San Nicolas de Tolentino to the town's fiesta on September 10 as three major entertainment activities are in line for the celebration.

The Parish Pastoral Council will sponsor "The Singing Priests" presentation on September 7, while the local government unit will sponsor the "LGU Espesyal" on September 9, and the Liga ng mga Barangay will sponsor a disco on fiesta night.          

Leading the festivities are municipal officials led by Mayor Sylvia Adame and Vice-Mayor Danilo Guivencan and the Sangguniang Bayan members- -Lucio Saluta Jr., Russel Yecyec Sr., Anecita Ucang, Wilfredo Codilla, Edgardo Akiat,Isidro Jumamil, Justiniano Ydulzura, Nerio Hamlag, AB president Miguel Vaquez Jr., and SK Chairman Suzette Joy Tago.

The local officials invite visitors to check out some tourist destinations in the town which include the Ermita Ruins, the Agro-Forestry Park, the Old Stone Church, and Dimiao Beach.

The Children's Rondalla had also brought pride to Dimiao.

The town fiesta is celebrated in honor of the Roman Catholic saint, Nicholas de Tolentino.
