Answer: Provides secondary male sexual characteristics (facial features, hair, low voice, broad shoulder, growth).

What is a Cardiac Tamponade?

Answer: This is a pathological accumulation of fluid (serous or blood) within the pericardial cavity. The fluid compresses the heart and restricts the venous filling during diastole and reduces cardiac output.

To treat this condition a pericardiocentesis is performed with a needle at the left infrasternal angle through the cardiac notch of the left lung to remove the fluid.
