I will be writing my thoughts about life, about the world, and about many thoughts that may visit me as I meet a new year of my life on earth. To God be the glory!

This chronicle of life's story will be released in installment. It seems that Balong's style has an influence on this thread. And it's good since the computer keyboard does not own my restless fingers all the time.

First: When I turned 27 last year I forgot it was my birthday. Our Tubag Bohol first lady had to remind me it was my birthday. On that day, I still vividly remember, nag-abli lang ko ug tinapa para paniudto - and I cooked my own rice.

I guess we share the same fate. Twice in my life I had forgoten my birthday. The first one, when I was just single at that time. My mother called to greet a belated wish, only to know 5 days had passed. The second, I came from a busy work when my wife, kids and neighbors surprised me with a dinner. Now that I have a son with the same birthday, I will never forget my birthday.

Macky, it is acceptable to forget our own birthday, but not the birthdays of our loved ones.

I remember I forgot the birthday of my sister and she was hurt by that memory lapse.

I turn 28 today and I am not feeling well. I slept at 6 a.m. and woke up at 7:30 a.m. to work.

My father was discharged from the hospital today. I thank the Lord that my father has started to realize that life on earth is temporary.

Ate, so much grateful and thankful to our Lord Jesus Christ, who is our life and salvation.

They don't want to be named and I wish to thank them here for sending birthday cards to Thailand, novel, Pounds, Euro, laptop bag, travel book, etc...

They surprise me with their gestures of kindness. I wish to refuse accepting gifts but what else can I do when I had received their birthday gifts?
