A partir de mesas redondas de discusión temáticas, se pretende que este encuentro dé un nuevo impulso a la consolidación de la agenda común entre España y Filipinas.

For those who do not understand Spanish, the video is talking about the need for Spain and The Philippines to uphold their 'Maternal' Bonds and stress the importance of the Spanish Language being taught again in the Philippines. The Spaniards talk about Rizal and the importance of the umbilical bond that Spain has with the Philippines, and vice versa, the notion of religion, faith, and governance being a common bond.

The Spaniards have a nostalgic tone in their presentation; as they refer to Las Filipinas as a bastion of Spanish Culture in the East. A jewel of the Spanish Empire.

Very interesting video.
