Domenica Niehoff, Germany´s famous prostitue died yesterday at the age of 63.
She lived always to the limit.  She saw to it that the prostitution is recognized by the German society as an occupation.

Prostitution is a taboo topic years ago. She made it popular in the media. People who are engaged in this profession were not insured and did not have some pension plans.
Changes happened as she was open in tv about it. Women´s movement demanded the same rights as if they are employee. Domenica was active in helping women who would like to devote themselves to other profession.  She became a streetworker advising girls/women about the risks of the occupation.
Through her work, prostitution is a legalized job in Germany.
