Does Evil Exist?

Do you believe that evil exists in the world?Or, is this just a medieval/religious concept still employed out of "fear" of the unknown or inexplicable?

if everything would be all good all the time, you wouldn't know the good when you saw it. how can people rise above the pull of darkness and achieve greatness if darkness doesn't exist? God gives us a choice how we live our lives, its up to us to live it with honesty, integrity, and all that jazz. at least, this is what i always thought.

For me it sends chills down my spine to know that there are priests in every single diocese that is trained in demonology and trained to combat demonic possession.

There is a specific college for Priests in the Vatican that trains priests and educates them on this matter.

For me, I don't know how some of the priests that have battled such demons can sleep at night. The things that they know.

Evil does exist and they exist in our midst.  A grandson raping his own grandmother or a grandfather molesting his own baby grandkid, those are acts of evils.

Yes evils exist like Satan, Demons or Lucifer. Why do we blame for all our
adversaries, shortcomings, and temptations?

Does it mean that all our sinful acts are the works of the devils?.

I do believe that some are the results of being lazy, unminfull and careless.

evil is the absence of good. it exists because we know others are doing it. it's not the person but the action.
