I was second year high school then. A girl from Valencia, Bohol sent me a Valentine's card and I was surprised.

She wrote so well and this once young boy was too shy to reply with the same force of words.

Hahaha, gwapa tung baji from Valencia, Mike?

She was charming and not so beautiful, but she was a high school valedictorian.
I met her just once and I haven't met her since 1993.

Not really significant and memorable acquaintance. I was just amazed that she wrote so well and I was no match to her writing flair.

Valedictorian da? Wow. Jati pood nang tao sa Valencia uy...bright man kaayo!
