When I was in sixth grade, a teacher taught me a poem, which I delivered during a scouting presentation contest.

Here's the line:

"Ang imong pahiyom sama sa utan nangka sa sayong kabuntagon."

Tubag sa akong mga classmate na babae: "Ayaw jud ko ug balaki ug ing-ana kay laporohon jud ti ka."

Romans 10:9
"That if you shall confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, you shall be saved."

Here's an oracion I learned from my Mamay Isang when I was a child (my yaya, who was my mother's yaya before me, became the yaya of my children, and the yaya of my lola) which we recite when there is a power outage at night:

Gloria panit
Espiritu pangunit
Ungo pahawa
Ayaw hilabti ang mga bata.

kanang nangka mao jud na hinungdan nganong wa pa ko nakauyab sukad2x~! tagok man gud sa baba mao na di na noon ko makaingon ug i love you! hahahahahahah!
