PH EMBASSY IN LEBANON SENDS HOME MEDICALLY ILL AND UNDOCUMENTED OFWs

The Philippine Embassy in Lebanon sent home a total of eight distressed OFWs on 7 and 12 September 2022 comprised of medically ill, sheltered runaway, and undocumented OFWs. In coordination with relevant Lebanese authorities, they were cleared from respective immigration liabilities.

Repatriates expressed their gratitude to the Philippine Embassy for extending the much-needed medical and welfare assistance considering the blow of the economic crisis on vulnerable migrant workers in Lebanon.

The Embassy coordinated with the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) for their quarantine accommodations and airport assistance.

The Embassy continuously offers individual exit clearance endorsements for undocumented and distressed OFWs.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son (Jesus Christ), that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God. - John 3:16-18
