Starfruit is such a rare commodity where I'm at. (In the mountains of Allegheny) lol.

I actually remember going to a local grocery market house the other week and saw starfruit on 'sale'.

They were selling it for $3.50 per fruit. Too expensive ra uy. But I bought one though.

All I know is that when I saw the star fruit, I rushed to the aisle where it was at. Tamiis kaayo to gipalit nako, na yellow na bitaw ang color? Yum na Yum.

Dong, I think you are referring to Durian!  I don't like that stinky fruit no matter what others say!  Jackfruit is another fruit, Dong.  It also has spikes all over but not sharp as Durian.

I can't describe the taste of jackfruit, Dong, but I can tell you, it's good!  When it's still raw, people usually makes vegetable dish out of it and cooked if coconut milk but I prefer the ripe ones!  So sweet and smells good!  It's so rich in fiber too!
