Will you be ready when God needs you?

As Jesus approached Jerusalem for the last time, He sent two disciples into the city to bring Him a donkey. He told them, “If anyone asks you, ‘Why are you loosing it?’ thus you shall say to him, ‘Because the Lord has need of it’” (Luke 19:31).

As we approach our sunset years, we may ask ourselves, “Can I still be useful to God? Is there some service I can render that will fill my days with significance? Am I needed?”

Of course you are! God needs you just as He needed the donkey to carry Him through the streets of Jerusalem. He has always needed something or someone to get His work done. He still has useful work for you to do.

Perhaps your work will be one brief task, like the donkey’s single act of service. Or it may be some activity that will fully occupy your years until your Master calls you home. It may be an opportunity to share your faith with someone, to intercede for him, or to love him through quiet acts of mercy, friendly visits, or to extend some small courtesy. There will always be something for you to do.

In the meantime, you and I must stand and wait, preparing ourselves through prayer, Bible reading, and quiet listeningâ€"ready for the moment that our Lord has need of us.

I wish I can say with all my heart that I am ready without thinking of my personal baggages which is my family. But I think I am.

Utilize me Lord.  Make me an instrument that other people may see you.  Make me worthy of your trust.

I think God knows if I'm ready. He doesn't have to ask me.
Asking me is only a human being's question for it is them who are curious and not God.

Whether you are ready or not, basta He needs you na dili jud ka kabalibad, you know why?

His spirit is so powerful nga you cant reject but  accept His offer with GRACE jud.

That happen to me, and that is why you will never hear me Preach because I already knew nga when HE needs you,

then it must be yours, no one ever prayed for me nor convinced me to seek HIM, it was HIM who touched me.

then i would say i was one of the very lucky chosen few.

We don't have any choice but to follow HIs will.But if He give me chance to choose,I prefer saying I'm not ready.He sent us in this world to multiply,but I still ain't able.I have to ask Him,God please wait for my time after I did multiply the good words of God.
